Privacy Policy

Provisional pre-launch information. This page is a plain-language overview while SHAiK prepares its final legal terms. It will be replaced before a public app launch.

SHAiK uses information you choose to share, such as your interests, preferences, saved activities, feedback, and account details, to suggest things to do and support your plans. The app may also use context such as available time, weather, and nearby places or events.

Location, photos, and contacts

Location and Photos permissions are optional. If you allow location, SHAiK can use your position for nearby ideas; you may also enter a location manually. In the current private alpha, SHAiK does not analyze or upload your photos. Contacts access is requested only after you choose a relevant people or invite action. You can add guests manually or use native sharing instead.

Service providers

SHAiK uses service providers for account access and to find nearby places, events, routes, weather, and recommendations. Information necessary to serve your request may be shared with those providers. Final provider details, retention periods, deletion processes, and legal disclosures are being prepared for the public launch policy.
